they had regular indoor 1x10 wood.

but some trim on the outside of my house is rotting away. thus i need 1x10 pressure treated wood. (so it'll resist rotting)

they had 2x10 which is too thick, and would not fit properly.

Is 1x10 pressure treated wood not common?

Lowes really isn't a good source for buying lumber other than plywood. Try a local lumber store. Trim should not be rotting unless it is unpainted. Is water rotting the trim because of how it runs off/pools when it rains?

1x10 pt isn't all that common, because it really has no use. It certainly isn't something you want to use for exterior trim, unless your building an above ground septic tank. Use redwood, ceder, radiata pine, something along those lines. Prime all four sides before you install it and you're good to go.

Is there not any 1x10 or 12's? If so, than treat the wood yourself, I know I've had to many times, but enough about me. The product I use is, Jasco Termin-8 wood preservative.
prevents rot, fungi, and mildew. Controls warping, and swelling. It seals the wood, and repels water. It also kills termites. I use this product even if the lumber was pressure treated, for added insurance.

Coppergreen will do the trick as well, but Temin-8 has more death in it.
