Is $175 a good deal for KX7-333R + XP2100+?

My friend is offering me the ABIT KX7-333R + XP2100+ for $175. It seems like the KX7-333 board is out of date as the AT7 and KD7-E are the main KT333 players left in the market. I also have to use my own heatsink/fan on the XP2100+. Hmm...what does everyone else think?

I love my KX7-333R 😀 nice and stable.

They aren't cheap either - ~100+ from a reputable online dealer. Newegg has XP2100 CPUs starting at $92 for the oen I believe. So to answer your question...I is an OK deal but for ~$25 I'd buy new. I'd jump on his deal for $150 though😀
My $.03 😉

It would only cost you about $20 more to buy a brand new Epox EP-8RDA+ and XP2100+ (that might even be the board he's looking to get with the proceeds of the Abit). Your friend's deal is okay, but not stellar.

He says he'll bump it down to $150 after hearing the suggestions you 2 guys gave me. 😀 Any more persuasion you can do to help further bump this price down? 😉

OK - So i take back the $150 sticker and put up one that says "Prices slashed...50% off...Today only! $75 takes it!"

Does that help? 😉 😛
