Is $170 total (tax included) good price for a new Samsung S4?

I've been in the market for a new or used phone, and I don't mind older models released a couple of years ago. I saw the S4 in my local cell phone store and was interested in it along with the S5. The Samsung Note is too large for me.

S6 is out of stock

Can I still get it? If not, what phone can I get under $250 max? Under $200 was my original budget
Those phones have been going in and out of stock so check frequently if you really want it.
At 250 I would just get the s6.

Yeah, the GS6 is in stock right now.

But I believe you have to use Cricket for six month before they will unlock.

(Unless there is a loophole that I'm unaware of.)

Plus there seems to be a $25 activation fee + $10 SIM card along with purchasing the $40 monthly data plan. I'm very happy right now with another mobile carrier so I'm probably going to pass.
