You must be running some pretty insane overclocks on that chip. Lots of people do about 2.2Ghz @ 1.6v or so. If you are trying to overclock it looks to me like your Kingston ValueRAM is holding you back and you should work on that front instead.
The memory is workin async so no problem with it . I'm trying to achieve 2.3ghz with stability but it would return to windows while running 3dMark01 almost while finishing the first loop (1.65V). LDT is @2.5x and Ram isn't reaching DDR400 so I don't think ram voltage is holding me back neither, or could it be holding?
I've been running my 3000+@2.4ghz 1.65v and I don't think 1.7v is a problem so if your cooling is up to it give it a boost. BTW, what do you have the LTD voltage at? I'd suggest cranking it all the way up but leave the chipset voltage alone.
Yeah I agree. 1.7v is fine as long as you have decent cooling. I wish I had even more voltage to play with myself. 1.9v would be sweet. Been running my A64 3000+ at 2.45 @ 1.68v for a while now with no problems.
