Is +1.76v too much for core voltage?

1.1ghz atlon on a kt7a-raid mobo

Should be ok my,normally slight increase in voltage can improve stability.

Give us more details on the crashing as well since many things can cause the problem.

Update, the correct voltage for your 1.1ghz is 1.75v so 1.76v should be fine,try 1.77 or 1.78 since both my T-bird and XP are fine at that voltage and some board brands do have the cpu voltage slightly higher as default over 1.75v to improve stability.
