Is 1.1 Voltage at 1800 mhz good for A64?

I bought a notebook from xtremenotebooks.com. Withouth actualy calling them though, I believe mine uses the DTR chip. I know it is socket 754. It has the Sis 755 chipset.

A little background:
I bought the laptop and no matter what I did, I couldn't seem to get it to run at full speed. I didn't think it was just windows misreporting the speed. So I found crystalcpuid. And that too reported my speed stuck at 800 mhz even while gaming.

So I manualy clocked it up to the full 1800 mhz( Athlon 64 3000+)
Crystalcpuid Identifies the chip as Clawhammer .13 socket 754.

I then undervolted the chip to 1.1V at full speed, and it has been super stable.

So my question is. Is that a good thing? Currently I run it off AC exclusively.

Second question, If I run the laptop off of AC only, should I keep the battery in place the whole time or remove the battery and let it sit around for the 4 months I will be using the laptop.

Thanks.

#0, To fix the 800mhz problem... Is there no bios option for disabling coolnquiet?

#1, yes i suppose it is a good thing. If it is prime stable, no problem; lower temps, lower power usage..

#3, I personally would remove the battery if not in use, for no other reason than it makes the lappy lighter.

1. Didn't see an option to disable it.

2. I haven't run any stress test apps. What apps should I run?

3. Laptop is on a desk constantly. Weight doesnt matter.

yes but cool and quiet wasnt working properly. And I know because my processor never hit 1800 mhz, Ican tell by performance difference while gaming.
