I was referring more to a post on page #2 that you didn't comment on, but fair enough.

By the way, Fox does post the full study on their site so I don't think anyone can say they are "hiding" the information about how the IRS did in their poll.

I don't see why i would respond to THAT post where you just stated your belief system or whatever. You weren't specific and i just assumed you were talking about the 'here's proof that you're a hypocrite on what fox news data you use or accuse' post.

But we're getting pretty meta here.

Edit: oh and i don't know where to find the study. And who the hell reads those things. Those aren't going to be discussed on the front page and you certainly won't get the full picture on the actual tv network

I see you went to the fox news/james o'keefe school of journalism.

That's why you're an idiot :)

After you posting this thread, calling someone else an idiot doesn't carry any weight. Though I am glad you resorted to it, it reaffirms what I already knew about the loony left.

Well, it figures you would miss the point.

Oh well, keep posting more leftwing propaganda lies while rallying against rightwing lies. It only makes you look like a fool.

Here is a hint: I never tried to make the poll look like ANYTHING and pointed out that nearly a THIRD of the total poll numbers on the Tea Party were non-commital. I merely pointed out that posting ONLY the favorable numbers was MISLEADING. My point stands.

Now you're just lying, you said the title of the OP was misleading, when it's still factually correct. The IRS *IS* more popular than the Tea party.

In fact, the fact that i put a question mark at the end of the title means i posed it as an open ended question rather than a hard fact.

So:

IRS more popular than Tea Party according to Fox News Poll?

Yes it is.

Here, let me help:

http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/040810_Obama_HC_2010_web.pdf

The numbers are there for anyone to see, and on their own site.

Yeah, but read the rest of my comment. The actual poll links are in small font underneath the headline stuff, not headline stuff and when you actually click the link, it leads you to their analysis which is where the sin of omission is. The actual poll is actually a link buried in their 'analysis'. Not many people are going to see that.

I actually had to do a ctrl-f to find the story then click the poll link inside it.

Do you honestly believe that they'll present a front page story about how the IRS is more popular than the tea party? I think that should actually garner a story at the tope of the front page. Or if they discussed that on the TV network? Fat chance.

You act like I have been defending Fox News. I don't watch Fox News, so how would I know and even more importantly, why do I care? I don't trust MSNBC any more than I do Fox -- I take everything either of them say with a huge boulder of salt. I don't trust Fox because they are way too partisan on the right, whereas I think MSNBC is too partisan on the left. I don't trust anyone who is blinded by their partisanship. That's why I come to P&N -- to get my laughs out of people on both sides of the aisle who blindly follow their "Dear Leaders." For my part, I just want the government to leave me the hell alone so I can live my life.

Do you honestly believe that if they report "49% of Americans like the IRS more than tea baggers" that it makes any difference whatsoever? What do you think will happen -- people all over the country will say "Crap, Fox is wrong, and I'm never watching them again!" As I mentioned in another post (or, at least I think I did), saying that the people like the IRS more than tea baggers does not necessarily mean that they are against "small government."

I was providing context for your statement that the numbers are for anyone to see on their site... it's hidden and obscured. It's not in the headlines, and not even below, you have to click on a link with tiny font and then there's ANOTHER link buried in the biased article itself, so it's not like many people will see it.

And the IRS is symbolic of people who hate paying taxes and hate big government (fairly or unfairly). Also, It was actually surprising to a few of us (including myself) that the American people had such a favorable view of the IRS, you would think it would be worse actually.

Why does the loony left do nothing but insult people?

Loony left: Check out these manipulated poll results

Sane person: Dude, that's not what it says, it says this ...

Loony left: Whatever stupid head

Funny, Amused said the title was misleading, when it's still factually correct. Amused owned himself by misreading what the poll data meant. Yes, you are a retard as well, so you can keep Amused company.

Stop being loony? Do ALL of you spew the same tired line in an attempt to marginalize others views? As if calling what others say "Talking points" means anything, especially when you vomit up the same rhetorical bullshit line after line.
