IRQ's stuck under win2k

Ok, i have been having problems with my new GF3. after talking with visiontek's staff(the only techs i have ever talked to that knew more then i did lol) i was told my cards needs to be on IRQ 11 all by itself.

I went to change it, but found the irq's were locked. the box "asign automaticly" was checked, and grey'd out so i couldnt uncheck it.

anyone know how to unlock the damn things?

Asus A7v mobo
win2k sp2(all compat updates)
current via 4-1's
nvidia 12.41 official det drivers

Yeah, in your BIOS you'd want to go into the chipset settings and ensure that IRQ 11 isn't part of the PnP pool, it'll probably end up saying ISA which is fine. Then in Windows you can go and assign 11 to your graphics card..

The visiontek guys were good enough to tell you that the graphics card should be on it's own IRQ but were not able to tell you how to do it?? Strange..😀
