IRQs on P4S533?

I don't understand this and I thought maybe someone could explain it to me. I have my NIC in slot 3 and the POST screen shows IRQ 5 for it but in device manager it shows IRQ 10.

Which is it and why doesn't it show as 5 in device manager?

Maybe you have PnP enabled in BIOS and windows reassigns the irq?

PnP is set to no in BIOS. I did run the DOS config utility which reported the following:

device number: 10
Interrupt request level: 5 (PCI)

So, I'm not really sure what IRQ it's using. I was playing with the sysedit.ini undocumented tweak "irq#=RAM amount" just for fun.
