IRQ?

My computer keeps crashing and someone told me it might be an IRQ conflict or problem. They said to juggle my cards to different slots. What does this all mean? What is an IRQ? WHy change my cards? Any helpful websites to explain all of this to me? Thanks!!!

There are a lot of version of "Crashes". It could mean BSOD "Blue Screen of Death", Freezes (or nothing happens with the desktop still on but no mouse or kb movement), Page Faults, or even reboots. So which one is it? IRQ conflicts are usually the cause of Freezes or Reboots. BSOD are usually caused by memory address problems cause by drivers or 3rd party softwares. Page faults are almost similar with BSOD except only on specific programs. Reboots & BSOD's are usually symptoms of a bad or under rated PSU.
