I'm having trouble with my new and cheap Actiontec PCI Lite 56 kbps modem and the A7V board. The driver for the modem installs fine, however on modem diagnostics testing, windows (ME) says that it can't find the modem (that this may be a driver problem or IRQ problem). When I check the IRQ settings, both my display adapter and modem have the same number. When I manually tried to change this in the BIOS they continued to have the same number. Is this my problem? Any suggestions would take me out of the doghouse since my wife no longer has internet access now.
