Ok I have a WAY overloaded computer, and I have IRQ conflicts. I can't seam to resolve.

I have:
MSI K7T Turbo-R
1600+ AthlonXP
3x 256 PC133
2x 30 Gb 7200RPM WD (on RAID channel)
80 Gb Maxtor 7200RPM IDE Primary Master
12.10.32 CDRW Primary Slave
10X DVD Secondary Master
LS120 Secondary Slave
GeForce 3 Ti200 (AGP)
TNT2 Vanta (PCI)
3Com NIC
Netgear NIC
SB Live! MP3+

My AGP video card is having conflicts on both IRQ 10 and 11. And therefore whenever I activate any D3D functions it freezes or BSOD. On IRQ 10 I have the NICs, and on IRQ 11 I have the RAID, and SB Live.

I have tried to move IRQs with no avail, to move the NIC, SB Live etc etc.

Any ideas?

What i'd try: Take out all your cards and figure out what slots share what IRQs (if it's not listed in your mobo manual). And when I'm talking about sharing IRQs, i'm talking hardware not software (windows). When your computer posts it lists all the PCI stuff and what IRQs it's using. Usually the AGP slot and the PCI slot next to it share IRQs. I've found that my network cards can share and IRQ with my USB. Also I found that my raid controller, video card & sound card don't like to share IRQs. I'd personally try to have them all on different IRQs but it's not physically possible on most if not all motherboards (for the amount of stuff you have).

Anyways, disable your onboard serial ports. Put the network cards in the slots that share with USB. Also try to have the raid controller and the sblive on their own IRQs. Now your AGP, RAID & SBLive should have their own IRQs & the Network cards & USB should be sharing. That just leaves your PCI Video card (TNT). What you could do (and what my friend does with a dual monitor setup) is let his PCI video card share an IRQ with his APG card, and whenever he wants to use 3D app he disables the 2nd monitor or else it'll error out. Or you could try letting the TNT share with the SBLive or possibly the RAID card.

It sucks that with all these PCI slots (5-6 usually) and all these IRQs (at least 3,4,5,7,9,10,11) available that mobo manufacturers (or is it chipset makers) make the slots share IRQs. PCI IRQ sharing isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
