the problem is with the Kingston NIC card and my USB controllers. They are both using the same IRQ. And I cant change them for some reason, I have tried changing NIC IRQ to 4 but the USB controllers move with it. I have tried changing slots for the NIC card but still nothing. Theres nothing in the A7V133 bios that lets me change the USB controller's IRQ. Anybody know how I could fix this problem??

AMD 1.2
A7V133 bios 1004
via 4.29v driver

I have an ASUS A7V and had many irq problems(drove me crazy). Anyway this guy at work who used to be comp tech. told me to remove all cards from device manager and remove them physically. Then install one card at a time. After each install shutdown comp. and install next card. Time consuming but it worked. Don't know if that will help or not.

Can you remove the NIC, reserve IRQ 4 in the BIOS, boot the OS, and then power down. Next insert the NIC and boot. Change the NIC IRQ to 4.

Let me know if this helps!

I have heard that PCI devices can use the same IRQ with no problems. My PC has a similar situation. Did you check device manager to see if you have any conficts? My USB uses the same IRQ as my WinTV pci card & the both work fine & windows reports no conflicts.
