IRQ Conflict between Sound Card and SCSI Card

I installed an Aureal sound card and an Adaptec SCSI card and the system keeps assigning them the same IRQ number. The sound card works but the SCSI card will not. Windows will not let me change the IRQ number on either of the cards and I changed the slot that the cards were in hoping that this would solve the problem but it does not. Can anybody help me?
 
I had a similar problem. In Device Manager, check the box in the SB 16 Emulation Driver that says Allow LPT Interupt Sharing
