I am using a pcchips m726mrt mobo.
i put in a ultra ata/100 pci card and find out that the onboard sound and pci card is sharing the same irq.
i disable the sound driver and it will boot up okie, if enable it the OS will "hang"
I try both win 98 and win 2k as OS and both has the same result.
I try changing the PCI port for the ultra ata, upgraded the bios to the latest one and mess around with the
irq setting in the mobo setup, although not all combination but a lot, and did not get it to work.
Is there anything I can possibly try and not yet do so?
Can anyone share their experience on how to set the irq setting so that it works?
