YAOUNDE, Cameroon (Reuters) -- Worried that her daughters' budding breasts would expose them to the risk of sexual harassment and even rape, their mother Philomene Moungang started 'ironing' the girls' bosoms with a heated stone.

"I did it to my two girls when they were eight years old. I would take the grinding stone, heat it in the fire and press it hard on the breasts," Moungang said.

"They cried and said it was painful. But I explained that it was for their own good."

"Breast ironing" -- the use of hard or heated objects or other substances to try to stunt breast growth in girls -- is a traditional practice in West Africa, experts say.

Yeah, I heard that, too. There are a lot of kids that are abandoned and in adoption agencies with AIDs because of rape.

I dated a girl one time (I was 18 she was 17) who's Mom told her that "In the bedroom you have to do WHATEVER it takes to keep the man happy.". I was both a little shocked, repulsed and happy at hearing this.

Weird thing was she flipped her ****** when she found out we were having sex. I was genuinely going WTF? I mean, what did you think I was doing in your daughters room with the door locked for hours at a time while your husband was at work, knitting a sweater?

Thankfully the daughter turned 18 before the mom found out, God only knows what she would have done then.
