Iron Man the comic hero-Need to find him!

Hello all-

I have been trying to find an Iron Man novel I read as a kid but seem to have lost. I don't remember much about what the cover looks like, but I know the plot was basically the origin of Iron Man- his injury, his building of the suit, and early crime-fighting feats. I know the publication date had to be before about 1992 or so- I remember reading it a bunch when I was about 8 years old. I really really want to find this book again. Not a comic- a novel of at least 100 pages. If anyone knows which book I'm talking about or of a site that has a complete list of Iron Man publications, I would really appreciate the help.

Yeah- I spent like an hour, literally, an hour, looking on sites from wikipedia to these weird-ass fan websites for publication dates, pics, and plots. I already was on wiki. Thanks anyway. That other one was nothing close.
