I bought my first Maiden album in 1983 when I was 7 years old (Number of the Beast) .. and I was hooked from day 1.
20 years later they are still my favorite band and I have loved everything they have done since (excluding The X-factor of course)

Who else out there has had the pleasure of following this incredible band through the years??

to use the words of kids today

Eddie p0wns!!!!

I never got into Maiden much, although they do have some awesome songs.

I'm a Metallica man.

Hard to narrow it down but.. since you like NOTB
Try these songs from the same album

Children of the Damned
Hallowed be thy Name
Run to the Hills
The Prisoner

..now that I think of it.. the whole damn thing is great!

3?

2 rhythm and a lead?

That would be cool, I've always wanted to start a band like that. It's just that much harder and more impressive to be tight with 3 people.

I can't remember the name of the flip side of the "2 Minutes to Midnight" single. I just remember that I really liked it.

The Powerslave album was one of my favorites. (Die With Your Boots On)

I've even got a cassette of "Asesinos" (That's "Killers" in Spanish) - got that one just because I knew practically nobody else here would.

Many people don't realize where they got many of their songs:

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner - Actually the title of a well-known novel (although not to me)
Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge

The list goes on, but I can't remember most of the others.

Bruce Dickenson has done some solo work that I liked as well. I've got a recording of him singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" with Montserrat Caballe. (Opera singer who did "Barcelona" with Freddie Mercury)
