Original series is Japanese....

Iron Chef USA is...... terrible..... with Captain Kirk playing the host. I believe it is on UPN? I only saw the pilot.

This is perhaps the worst crap on TV, and thats saying a lot! I tried watching it last night, but it literally caused me physical pain. I think I'd rather watch a guy getting kicked in the nuts over and over instead of this crap. And I love a lot of the shows on Food Network too (Good Eats, Iron Chef, Unwrapped, The Naked Chef <-- that British guy is great!). I really hope this show dies a quick death. Not only was Shatner horrible, but the commentators were terrible!

The one I saw months ago sucked. It was like a lame WWF Foodfight.

yesterdays was a repeat.. i think it was the premiere episode..

food "looks" more edible for the orginial series..... natto episode not included.

I did not like it. The Original was much better and the food looked terrible.

Watched half of it then turned the tube off, absolutely horrible. Shatner doesn't belong there, what the hell does he know about cooking? What really got to me was how carefully choreographed the cooks were. Totally unnatural and takes away from what the show is supposed to be about. Answering a cell phone while cooking with the cameras perfectly focused and we can hear the conversation crystal clear? Please..
