Do you know much about the show? I've always wondered if it is really serious over in Japan like the announcers seem to make it. Of course, they seem crazy about everything and they over dramatize anything the chefs do. Still a good show though.

i havent seen that episode yet, but my friend who saw it said that when they announced the theme ingredient, that you can visually see the challenger cussing. haha

mmmmm, foie gras........sooo good, and yet soooo bad for you. :) I guess I've missed that episode.....milk would be nice. Vinegar into milk reminds me of hot oil and vinegar being added to hot soy milk, producing a nasty looking, but good tasting product. For those into Chinese breakfast cuisine, "hot soy milk" would be the name, simple eh? :)

I hate the English commentary....the original Japanese version is so much better. It's not a really popular show in Japan anymore. One thing that stays the same: the stupid comments that the Japanese actresses spit out just to get a little involved in the discussion.

a lot of use dont speak or understand japanese.

OMG! What are you talking about? The horrible english commentary and dubbing are what makes the show so great.

"The Milk battle is OVAH!"

I love the show (even bought an IC t-shirt lol) but the milk battle was lame. Now, that $400/Lobster battle was AWESOME!
