they tell you to empty it after every cleaning, i think. you need to empty the tray out, but it's really not that difficult (the unit is bagless, so you just open it up over a bag and you're done).

Are you getting one?

I am waiting for one that will vaccum everything by itself. Sofas, etc. Plus something that will dust for me daily! I really wish they had a robot that dust!

I got the Discovery SE for my wife's Bday in January.

Its a neat little product. Its good for light cleaning but forget heavy cleaning. Its more to tidy up things than act as a stand alone vacuum. It is effective though. The dirt bin fills up pretty nicely. For my heavy vacuuming, I use a Dyson.

As for getting stuck, it does get stuck often. You have to clear out all cables or else you'll end up trapping it.

We use it every other day or so. It is noisy so be aware of that fact.
