I'm too embarrased to ask this question in any of the hardware forums. I just got this thing today. Are one of the headphone buds supposed to have a much longer cord than the other one? I mean the right one has a foot more cord than the left. It feels really lopsided.

you'll get used to it ^^
i think it's actually much better than having both sides being equally long, the only issue is having to keep your disc player to your left most of the time, but i like it now. if you ever check out higher end headphones, they'll be in that configuration.

forget those and get yourself a pair of street style headphones. Best damnned headphones I've ever owned.

i love the around-the-neck style... bought me a bunch of aiwa earbuds because they were configured like so but now after 2 pair of kosses (ksc-35 and portapro) im never stepping back to 10$ buds again

I replaced the ones that came with my SlimX with a set of the Sennheiser MX500's earbuds. They are cheap and have a little handy volume control right on the cord.
