i don't understand the obsession with an FM tuner in an MP3 player. Isn't the whole point of carrying around your whole mp3 collection to not have to listen to the same old garbage on the radio? Unless you absolutely have to have your NPR...

i like my npr. its a feature that doesn't take much space and lets u play something other then ur mp3s when you feel like it. npr rocks!:) its not as if ur spending chump change on these things

I won't consider a MP3 player if it doesn't have a radio. I like listening to NPR, but more importantly I have access to local broadcasting like news and traffic. Also sports games.

haha, i like npr too. Ok, guess it's somewhat justified then.

but all the good local news/weather/traffic is on AM radio though..

I wouldn't mind an AM tuner built into my ipod to listen to sports.
