Irish soda bread > Paczki donuts

never tried either one till recently.

i got Paczki donuts when it was Mardi Gras.
tasted like regular donuts, but ALOT more expensive. 4 for $3 at my local sueprmarket, but a dozen donuts is only $4 including Bavarian Creme.

I got Irish soda bread today. (St Patty's day is almost here.)
It's $2 for a 1lb round loaf.

i like it. it's like raisin bread but better tasting at the same price

You must not've had authentic Packzki then. The taste and texture of the dough is very different from that of a regular "American" donut.

That said, comparing packzki to soda bread is ridiculous - apple and oranges.

If you can still get out of your seat after eating a Packzki its not a real Packzki.
