i'm trying to see what these people are doing on my network. they got into my network when i had it open. but it's now closed and they don't get in anymore. but i'd like to see if this program would work if someone ever got in again.

Iris freakin' ROCKS! I scan the traffic picked up by my nic but I only have ARP traffic. Very boring. I haven't tried it using a wireless nic though.

I'm almost certain you can't capture 802.11x packets on Windows platform, because there's no way to put a card in the necessary mode to monitor the packets; called "rfmon." You could setup a Linux box with and use Ethereal though.

yea, it's expensive. i'm using the trial. well, i will be for the next 7 days as my trial is about to run out. i don't think it works with wireless though. i will try ethereal. does it work with wireless?

Yes, just not on Windows (last I checked).
