Irfanview -> supposed to open SWF (shockwave flash) but can't!

Hi all!

I downloaded some .swf (shockwave flash) to view, and wanted to use irfanview, which is supposed to work.

I installed the most recent version (3.97) and all the plugins, but it still sees .swf files as an "unknown format".

Anyone know why?

I *can* view these in my browser........ (Maxthon)

this might work:
properties -> extension tab -> check .swf

Yeah, I tried that - but I think that just tells the system to use Irfanview when a .swf file is clicked.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
