Hmm either a very disturbed individual or perhaps making a dry run??
One can only speculate, but will be curious to hear the apologists come up with plausable reasons for having a magne and wires in your rectm at the airport.
Pulls up a lawnchair.

Only new thing is the media covering it like an Anna Nichole Smith story.

there country has (had?) the opportunity to be far better then it ever was, can you deny that?

One thing Iraqi's don't need is to feel is vengeful, that doesn't seem to be getting them anywhere does it.
blow up 30 shia....blow up 20 sunni....kidnap 10 shia.....saw heads off 5 sunni....etc...etc...etc

Yeah, the U.S. really "got them places" didn't it....

On topic: Who are these apologists you speak of? I'm glad they caught the bastard. He'd have been beaten to death if caught by passengers, quite correctly, so he's lucky in a way.

He was being an idiot and was testing airport security.

Hell you can put wires and a magnet on a carryall and they probably won't stop you.

The hell does one need to stick it up their ass.
Either way I don't like his B.S games. Back to Iraq you go.

Maybe if you disagree or not always agree with GWB et al about Iraq, you are an apologist.

I need more information, before I jump to any conclusions about this. Am I being an apologist?

Speaking of apologists, what an unmitigated crock. Please cite a credible source showing "there has always been" tens of thousands of people slaughtered in Iraq each year due to "sectarian killing". Nothing new my arse.

Could say as much about you regarding this swipe?

Besides, he seemed to be addressing the OP's apparent insinuation that anyone who disagrees with Bush's idiotic war might be a terror apologist, when in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. America and Iraq have been placed in far greater danger by this Administration's mistake.

That would appear to be so.

I think by apologists he means apologists for Bush, who has made Iraqis even more disgruntled toward the US? I had never heard of many Iraqi terrists until after the invasion. Mostly our dear friends the Saudis, Iranians, Libyans, and Palestinians came to mind.

I have no rememberence of saying there were tens of thousands of people slaughtered every year, but thats a nice try at twisting my words which actually were "there has always been sectarian violence"

Here are 72 pages of pictures from some of the mass graves in Iraq, have fun.
These killings which were not uncommon are apparently what kept the Iraqi's from doing to each other what they are now.
And so I don't have to waste my time replying to you again, I could care less if you like the source.

Duh. Of course you didn't say it, you're trying to deny it. The fact is sectarian violence is now killing tens of thousands of Iraqis per year. That is the current situation. You tried to pretend this was normal and not newsworthy by claiming (and I again quote verbatim):
  • "there has always been sectarian killing there. Its nothing new.
Only new thing is the media covering it like an Anna Nichole Smith story. "

but thats a nice try at twisting my words which actually were "there has always been sectarian violence"
False. I quoted you verbatim. Sorry if you don't like the taste of your own words. Perhaps you should learn to choose them more carefully.

Given your lack of a point, your source is of no concern.

Hmmmm..... Seems like the OP is attempting to give justification to the Iraq war by pointing out an alleged Iraqi terrorist....

Sort of a "SEE! LOOK! THE U.S. WAS RIGHT!!!!"

This is why I say " waste my time" if I had an ignore list you'd be on the top of it like you are on others.
You lie, ignore points made like they were never made, and continue to twist to suit yourself.
Your words are of no concern.

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.
I don't know why she swallowed a fly.
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a spider
That wiggled and jiggled and tickled insider her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed a fly.
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a bird.
How absurd! To swallow a bird!
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wiggled and jiggled and tickled insider her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed a fly.
I guess she'll die.

Cat . . . Imagine that! She swallowed a cat.
Dog . . . What a hog! She swallowed a dog.
Goat . . . She opened her throat and in walked a goat.
Cow . . . I don't know how she swallowed that cow.

There was an old lady, she swallowed a horse.
She died of course!

But now it's got me thinking. What if a terrorist managed to train a small rodent like a gerbil to follow whistle commands or such. He could rig up the gerbil with a vest, smuggle the critter onboard tucked away. A few whistles later and the gerbil is inside the cockpit

Maybe he was using the magnets to cure something ailing his rectum. People buy magnets for medical use, although I've always thought it was quackery. The wire was probably so he could pull it out, and wouldn't lose it in there.
