True. And when they massacre their loved ones, slaughter their children in murder-suicides, etc. it's just called murder. Why not call it honor killing, too?

Because of the motive.

The perceived dishonor is normally the result of one of the following behaviors, or the suspicion of such behaviors: (a) dressing in a manner unacceptable to the family or community, (b) wanting to terminate or prevent an arranged marriage or desiring to marry by own choice, (c) engaging in heterosexual sexual acts outside marriage, or even due to a non-sexual relationship perceived as inappropriate, and (d) engaging in homosexual acts.

Don't hear about non-immigrant Americans doing this very often. Sorry buddy. Sounds like you have a third-world mentality.

She made him aware of his self hate. She had to die. We are killing the world and going extinct rather than feel what we feel. This is the condition the human race is in. Do you know you hate yourself. Of course you don't. It's the last thing on earth you would ever allow to happen. We much prefer to go extinct as you can see we are if you're honest.

They really need to have more respect for women's choices in that culture. They are about 400 years behind the times in some places.

Religion as a whole seems to relegate women to back of the bus the more pious you are.
