Fits in line with previous accusations that insurgents have infiltrated all aspects of the Iraqi security force.

You guys gonna throw a little tea-party over this news (ie. "good" news for you)?

Hey, maybe if enough marines get blown away in the upcomming offensive, you guys can tailgate. After all, anything that hurts our efforts and scores points for 'your side', right?

Yeah.... say what you want, after a month of listening to people like you squawk, it's obvious politics matters more than success.

I've noticed you have an ongoing problem with appeals to motive. It's an example of a logical fallacy. :clock:

Oops. I thought the Iraqis wanted to help the Americans get rid of the terrorists.

So much for this.
So are you happy about this? I can only assume you are with your quips and little cartoon links.

Wouldn't you prefer to address the news then to attack me?

Oh god... someone found a logical fallacy website...

What, I can't hear you.. wah wah... what? You're starting to sound like the adults in Charlie Brown.

Keeping scouring the web, I'm sure you find some more bad news to celebrate.

If you don't want to discuss the missing briefs, go away. If you want to talk about me, PM me. Bye.

I'm not attacking you, I'm asking a question. You didn't simply post the article, asking for input. You didn't address any issues. You made a quip and posted a cartoon. So what are your feelings on this? Is my assumption incorrect? I can only assume your lack of response means yes, you are happy with this turn of events.

I am pointing out the absurdity of people who thought the Iraqis would be throwing roses at us. While I'm at it I'd like to remind you Bush was wrong when he declared, "mission accomplished."

As for my personal feelings on this, please tell me why they are relevant to the news story.

I'm sorry, Infohawk probably forgot to activate his "Only Good News About Iraq Must Be Shared" filter. I'll PM Infohawk to remind him.

BTW, if anyone is up for a tailgater, I'll bring the beer.

"Only Good News About Iraq Must Be Shared filter"

Um, I don't think such a filter exists. Anything I've heard about Iraq from either of you... and many others here... only attacks the military, Bush and this country. In other words, anything that feeds your hate.

Please stop attacking the people in this thread and address the issue or go away. Bye.

Yes, it surprises me too, the unbalanced ratio of bad news to good news about Iraq. Especially since we've been greeted with open arms and winning their hearts and minds for over a year now.

So I'll go with my assumption then. I figured I was right.

It's a pretty wild assumption. Again, if you want to hi-jack this thread and make it go off topic you'll have to give a good reason. You can't explain why it matters what I think so I'm not gonna' respond. Sowwy.

I fail to see how asking an opinion is off topic? Are you that frightened of taking a position? I know it doesn't fit into the modus operandi of the king of trolls, but I've seen you take a position before. I know it can be done.

So how does this make you feel? Bad? Good? Or perhaps your little quip and cartoon was your way of saying "see Bush we all told you so" and "I hate christians"?

I can only assume since you refuse to answer.

It doesn't have to do with the missing plans in Falluja or Iraq.

No.

Are you sure you're really looking for discussion? I'm thinking you just want to have a pissing match.

Why is it relevant?

No, you could also NOT assume and be smart about it.

You are so right. Let's all ignore this sorry news, sing Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy, and pretend everything is just peachy. We'll lose just as many troops due to this SNAFU, maybe even more, but at least you bleating Bushies can happily ignore the fact that you re-elected the incompetent warmongers who put our troops in this quagmire in the first place. God forbid any of you should accept accountability for the consequences of your actions.

Yeah, great idea bowfinger, let's ignore the bad news! That way, we'll know everything is going just great!! Once again, another gem by our little friend Mr. Bowfinger.

I have a better idea. How about rational people -without some overpowering political axe to grind- bring up the important issues in a non-sarcastic, non-gloating manner. Then we can all have a nice discussion of what's happening, what it means, and where it's going.

Wait... that may be too much to ask for in a forum like this, as people who were before simply being negative to get their guy elected have now turned into virtual terrorist cheerleaders in their spite and rage over the re-election of their most hated enemy Bush.

Terrorist cheerleader? I think you only qualify if you work for a defense contractor.

Quit with the cartoon links please Infohawk. Those are hands-down the dumbest and most poorly drawn political cartoons I've EVER seen
