Iraq war hits close to home

As part of my profession, I know many college students in this area of Michigan. Since my school serves the area close to Company A, First Battalion 124th, Marines (out of Grand Rapids), we have many Marines from that company as students.

They were serving the first two weeks of a six month tour when one of their leaders was killed last week. Although I never met this individual, his death was felt by many. Just thought I'd share that.
