The fig leaf of the possibility of an honest mistake on the matter of WMDs is stripped away; what is left is the stark and disturbing anatomy of deliberate deceit."

Wow, from moveon.org. That's about as unbiased as you could get. Next.

"I don't care if the president believed his own bad intel or not, it's his responsibilty to decide to use force." This statement is ridiculous. If you read the same intel he did, would you have decided differently? Would Kerry? Kerry wouldn't have, as he's said time and time again. Of course, you're not in the business of defending Kerry, just bashing Bush.

Bush is in charge, Kerry isn't. Who should I bash for Iraq?

This whole thread is meaningless. It would take hundreds of pages from experts to unravel the web of the pre-war buildup and what intel was used and abused. You think a bunch of armchair pundits in a geek forum are going to clear this up? I suspect you just want attention and your ego stroked. You are so smart, you made it very clear that Bush is not to blame and the intel was. Congrats. 😉

Typical right wing response to information, attack the source and ignore the message. It was co-sponsored by moveon, not made by moveon. So if someone collects a bunch of evidence to prove a point, they should be ignored? Ah, sort of like this thread. We fell for your trap, next time you might get ignored like Rip and fall off the front page.

Hehe. And the neocons are not biased? You want to discuss the Iraq war but refuse to listen to the people that before the invasion said that the neocons were wrong (and liars) and have since the invasion been proven right. The simple truth is that there is no point in discussing this topic anymore with people who have been proven to be unable to face reality. Those of you that still believe the neocon lies will go on doing so whatever arguments the rational side has to offer. For neocons this is more a matter of political, if not almost religious, creed than rational acceptance of fact.

The video is interesting not the least because it shows clips of the necon junta lying their hearts out to push their agenda. No amount of spin can change that fact.

So bush's bright idea was to leave them in unknow locations in Iraq and just hope bad people don't go dig them up.

Bush either screwed up by claim iraq had WMD or Bush screwed up by not securing the WMD either way the resulting problem in Iraq is bush's fault.

Yes, yes, and if Bush found WMD today you'd also say he put them there. He can't win, regardless of what he does. He could deliver a wheelbarrow full of cash to your door and you'd find a way to twist it around and make him look like a liar or an idiot based on that event.

We have organizations actively looking for WMD in Iraq, as mentioned in Kay's report that I posted.

The fact that Bush put very little effort in locating WMD in Iraq is enought proof for me that he knew they didn't have any. Only a fool would leave basicly all the weapons stock piles ungruarded if he really thought that there might be WMD in them.
