Anybody bother to tell Iraq that they lost the Persian Gulf war?

The spokesman claimed the weapons inspectors had verified Iraq has rid itself of weapons of mass destruction ? something the inspectors said would take months to do ? and appealed for a ban on such weapons to be extended beyond Iraq: to Israel, and eventually to the United States

So they just want Israel and the US to disarm?
Sure, that sounds convienent.

Saddam still believes that he won the Gulf War. Seriously, it was in one of his speeches.

From his point of view, we are telling him he has to disarm just because we can.

So why can Israel and everybody else have weapons, but he cannot? He has not done anything wrong in the last 10 years.

It is not just the US (and Israel however in the hell they got involved) but the entire UN.

That is the resolutions since the Gulf War have been UN passed resolutions.

I think he knows he lost, but it is lame attempt in saving face in front of this people even though I wager mose of them know the 'truth' anyhow.

He asks us to disarm and get rid of our WMDs but why not the other countries who sold WMDs to him like France and Germany?
