Iraq. For the record.

Lets re-state the facts. They are not in dispute (except by the wackos)

Saddam didn't have WMD.

Saddam wasn't involved in 9-11.

Saddam and Osama hated each other.

The Iraqi people hate us for invading their country.

The situation has been getting worse since we invaded, and the Iraqi ability to control their own country has deterioriated and continues to deteriorate.

Invading Iraq has inflamed the hatred of tens of millions of Arabs and Muslims.

The hatred of the U.S. invasion has spurred tens of thousands to join terrorist groups aimed at the U.S.

We have done very little to secure our ports and chemical plants and other potential targets of terrorists.

The Patriot Act has caught virtually no terrorists that wouldn't have been caught without it.

We could have gone a long way to energy independence by spending the money we spent in Iraq on conservation and alternative energy here in the U.S.

The Republican party and the President have used the war on terror as a political tool instead of uniting Americans against terrorism.

Too many people here are trying the Republican tactic of bald faced lying, apparently hoping that all the lies we were told might actually be true.
