I cant believe what I am hearing on the conservative talk shows. The same people who were calling in last year saying how badly the Iraqi people needed the US to liberate them, and how liberals did not believe the Iraqis deserved democracy, are now calling in to suggest that we Nuke them because they are killing their liberators. What's wrong with this picture?

I am starting to think the Iraqis would have been better off without our help.

it's mind boggling what these americans are thinking. first spend all this money, time, goodwill, people to liberate, and then nuke what you've just completed.

Don't take things so literally...

It's a facetious, knee-jerk response to the endless lamenting in the media about this "mass uprising" in Iraq. An RPG lands next in an empty field next to a hotel where JOURNALISTS ARE STAYING, and the next thing you know all hell breaks loose on CNN.

The truth is - we're kicking ass over in Iraq. It's only been a year or so, and we've accomplished a great deal, but we have more to do. I don't think anyone seriously entertains the idea that we use Nukes when we're already WINNING the war...

Nuke them, and then say hey we found the WMD. j/k

Nuking is a terrible idea. On a related idea, lets nuke N. Korea, all of it, so we make sure we get every last one of them before they can sell their nukes. :evil:

Well, the typical bleating members of the flock that call in to those shows haven't had an original thought in their pea-brains throughout their entire lives.

<Joe Redneck voice>
"Yeah...fvck them towel-heads! If they don't be wantin' 'r hep, bomb 'em!"
</Joe Redneck voice>

The sad thing is, there's quite a number of people that think like that and they all fall for the B.S. being spewed from the likes of Medved, Hannity, and Limbaugh.

Or...
maybe you're just ranting about your perceptions of what people are saying. I highly doubt that the same people called in last year and said what you say they did - let alone say what you are trying to say they said now.
follow that?:p

In other words - your rant=3 out of 10. Would have gotten more for factual content but you get a few points for just being mad.:)

Er... dude..., the war is over ;) (Well, GWB said so, so it must be true).

And while the coalition may be winning, wining isn't everything. Read the art of war. A victory can be a bad thing if it's accomplished at great cost, or if the consequences aren't good.
Something needs to be done to sort out Iraq, a nuke isn't it, and it doesn't seem like current efforts are getting to far either.

I read today that after recent fighting in Fallujah that the death toll looks something like this:

450 Dead Iraqi Insurgents

4 Dead Marines

Dont let our liberal media lead you to believe that all hell is breaking loose and that we are getting our asses handed to us.

actual text:
Death toll climbs in Fallujah
The director of the main hospital in Fallujah said Friday that at least 450 Iraqis had been killed and that more than 1,000 others had been wounded this week. At least four U.S. Marines have been killed in the city.

the libs are so desparate they call conservitive talk shows pretending to be conservitives, and they know most other libs are dumb enough to believe the things these"conservitives" say at face value...

Cool, would be a good test to see how they would work on North Korea too.

Shard, you must be right. No good neo-con would ever call CSPAN and say something like this. It must be a liberal claiming to be a neo-con.

Now, why did I think someone would suggest that. Maybe it was Bill Clinton who did it.

Unbelievable!!!

Why don't we just buy n. korea nukes and sell them to Iran,
get rid of 4 problems with one transaction?

You seriously can not be blaming the "liberal media" for people calling for nuking Iraq on a conservative talk radio show!

I heard a liberal call in yesterday, he said hes thrilled everytime an American dies because it means a few more votes for kerry :-(

I see a few on these boards that drool over every memo that was sent before 9/11. People that put down anything anyone does, even if its because they are trying to do something for the good of the people, just because they don't belong to the "right" party. It makes me wonder if they feel the same way, in thier heart, as that caller.

It's quite sad.
