Maybe you assume there's a nuke mounted on them? I don't know, what are the Iranians going to arm them with? They claim they have no nuke program and we're not so sure they do either... Although, the almighty Dubya said that they're "evil-doers," so I don't know Dari ... should we lock-and-load? 😉

MSNBC.com - Iranian FM rejects Israeli nuclear weapon charge

JOHANNESBURG, July 21 ? Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi on Monday rejected Israeli charges that Tehran was seeking to build a nuclear weapon, saying Israel represented a nuclear threat to the region.

My history lesson? You obviously don't know what you are talking about. Have you ever been to Iran? No. Do you know any Iranian people? No. If you did then you wouldnt say Iran is anti-American.

The hostage takeover was a result of a new government coming into power. The U.S should of evacuated the embassy just like they do now (ex: Liberia) This was over 20 years ago. Did I mention more than half the population of Iran (more like 60%) is under the age of 24? So.. more than half the population right now doesn't even remember it. Why was the Shah chased out of his own country? He had wealth and power while the rest of the population was poor. Why do you think the Ayatalloas have so much power in Iran? They tookover and the people finally had things for a change.

Yep, and maybe some fanatical ayatollahs will teach Americans to be a little more discretionary in their interference in the region. It wouldn't be the first time that Iran would teach America a lesson.

Yes, and after than America will teach Iran to use a little more discretion when launching nuclear missles. Not a good plan if you ask me.
Neither was propping up the Shah which ultimately led to the Ayatollahs increased influence and the student revolt. I'm not a big basher of America's wayward influence but Iran is a mess we made and could have avoided. In fact, had we seen past immediate short term interests and outright greed, Iran would likely be right now the Iraq that we're trying to create. It is very conceivable that Iran would have been a strong US ally in the region today.

Yes, someone must stop the increased attacks by Israel on the gentle people of Iran.....

I would put SA ahead of Iran as far as sponsoring and funding terrorism, but they might be a close second, maybe Syria, how could you ever really know though?

Let them have their missilles and nukes, they know what will happen if they TRY to use them.

DING DING DING!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE have a winner. SA is a festering sore on our collective ass, and we aren't doing nearly enough to deal with the. Let the Iranians have thier missiles and thier nukes. Contrary to popular belief, they aren't all a bunch of lunatics.

Unfortunately the people of Iran aren't the ones running things. Maybe that will change in the next few years but until then we still have to be pretty cautious about what the Iranian government is doing.

Anyway if Iran is anti-Israel and they did ever get into a scuffle, guess which side we'd have to take.
