The Iranian government arms, trains, and aids terrorist organizations hostile to us and our allies. This isn't about stereotypes, it's about putting 2 and 2 together.

Are you really trying to defend your position that all Iranians are terrorists?

Dude.. They weren't TOURISTS - they wre Government Paid SECURITY PERSONNEL

Damn, the Iranian Americans need to come up with their own NAACP type organization so they can start boycotting all kinds of sh*t. Maybe all ten of them can boycott a Yankees game or something.

I see the terrorist scare being just like the whole communist scare during the 50's. All Middle Easterners are targets...even black people with perms.

I actually agree that taking pictures of the subway, repeatedly might seem a little suspicious. When it comes to diplomats, we give them a lot of leeway WRT local laws, but we also maintain the right to have them leave for any reason.

I would like to point out that the inverse insult to 'neo-con' is not 'neo-lib'. If you look up the two terms, you will find they are actually quite similar concepts, and both are more conservative than traditional right-wing parties. Pinko commie would be a much more accurate insult to use ;)

That isn't my position at all. Please feel free to indicate where I said all Iranians are terrorists. Putting words in my mouth is the quickest way to make me view you as a moronic POS. Please, don't go there.

I know some people on government payrolls, and they do not necessarily reflect the views of the government they serve. These could just be some schmoes fascinated with the city and wanted to take as many photos as they can. Taking photos, last I checked, was not a crime.

WE didn't do anything. What will it take for people like you to realize that there's nothing WE can do to stop terrorism. It seems that you and a majority of other Americans have been lulled to sleep behind the United States' flimsy facade of peace and security. The terrorist attacks on 9/11 was a wake up call. Welcome to the rest of the world. Glad you finally showed up.

dahunan, the Dems have set up a Lose-Lose situation, they WILL depict every action of the government as the absolute worst possible solution, yet offer none of thier own. They fight tooth and nail for a foreigners "rights", then once that foreigner commits a horrible act on US soil, they will tell us how our secuirty systems have utterly and horribly failed, asking the questions "how could you idiots have missed this?" go figure.

Sometimes you do not need to state something explicitly. The statement "The Iranian government arms, trains, and aids terrorist organizations hostile to us and our allies. This isn't about stereotypes, it's about putting 2 and 2 together" seems like a formula for classifying Iranians as terrorists. But if that's not what you meant to say, I'd appreciate a clarification.

Well, Saudi Arabia is not in the axis of evil and our government does not indicate they are our enemy or that the Saudi government supports terrorism, and since the overwhleming majority of the hijackers were Saudi, I don't see how your argument is relevent.

Could very well be an overreaction. I mean, if anybody wants a fully documented view of somewhere, go to Tokyo and make a deal with a Tourist returning from where you want pics from! :D

These are not American citizens, they do not have the same rights as Americans. They are paid security personel for another nation which is fairly hostile toward the United States. If we want them out because they a chewing gum, they are GONE. They have NO RIGHT to be here.. we extend them the courtesy of staying here and can revoke it at any time.

Since this is the 3rd time they have been caught doing this, I imagine they were told at least twice NOT to continue doing it. I don't care WHY they were doing it, if you are a guest of the United States, you do what you are told otherwise you will be asked to LEAVE.

Iran is probably the most adept at hiding what it is up to. It has also been reported and confirmed by Iran that there are some Alqueda members supposedly under House Arrest inside of Iran. Iran always pretends it is cooperating with Us when they make a public statement for the press, and then they go and lend their support to terrorists and do things like sell arms to the Palestinians. Iran is not a trustworthy nation. The USA should wise up and kick all foreign nationals from muslim countries out of our nation. None of them can be trusted. I can't see any reason to trust a muslim anywhere right now.

No clarification is necessary, unless you're really dumb enough to consider the Iranian government and the Iranian people as the same entity. I've never done this, and have have maintained quite the opposite in other threads. I'd appreciate it if you'd drop the act. Really lozina, I expected more of you. :brokenheart:
Please leave the ASSuming to the neocons.
