Iran tipped to have nuclear bomb by 2010

My point is, no one knows a thing about how far Iran has gone, or how fast they could go from here.

..or whether they plan on going that far. Everything thy've done so far has legitimate Peaceful applications. The current move to stop them cold seems more about Others fear of what might be than actual what Iran may intend.

IRAN could have a nuclear bomb by 2010, America's top intelligence official claims.

Two things: "COULD"

and 2nd...

"America's top intelligence" <----- after what was produced from Iraq.

That is all.

I don't see the problem with them developing nuclear technology, I think as a soverign nation with no aggressive tendencies (no history of terrorism or preemptive war), they should be able to use it as a detterent to invasion.

I have a pocket knife. I could kill someone with it, though I'm using it to do an outdoor project.

Our intelligence personnel could be the DUMBEST people I've ever heard.

I'd be willing to bet that the intelligence analysts and officers are fine, but we never hear from THEM, do we? Instead we hear from some political tool who's primary concern isn't really the security of this country.

As far as discussion goes, let me boil down the FUD for you...here's what Negroponte said...
"The estimate we have made is that some time between the beginning of the next decade and the middle of the next decade they might be in a position to have a nuclear weapon, which is a cause of great concern," he said.

They might be in a position and he's all aflutter? That doesn't say they WILL have one, or that they are even WORKING on one, only that they could maybe have the ability to make one at some point, or not. It's almost as bad as "weapons of mass destruction program related activites". I don't understand it. Yeah, they aren't exactly a bunch of nice guys, but so far as I've heard, despite all the focus on them, there is not one shred of evidence to suggest that they are working towards nuclear weapons. Yet for some reason people are getting all worked up over it.

Why is it that everyone forgets or excludes the fact that nuclearweapons are bought and sold just like other weapons are on the black market? And that these deals could have been going on the past 30 years? I bet that squirreled away somewhere Iran has at least a dozen nuclear warheads ready to use in some fashion militarily, if not many more.

Also it's absolutely certain that Iran is going to be clandestinely countering Isreal's massive nuclear arsenal as a deterrent. Will Islamic radicals ever use a nuke in a first strike on Isreal or the USA? Only if they happen to be crazy -- OR -- feel tremendously threatened or else under actual full scale invasion/bombardment.

By the way, Suadi Arabia already has bought a fair share of nukes. And they are the birthplace of Islam. Pakistan, another Islamic Nation has nukes. North Korea has nukes too. And the missiles to hit the Western USA.

Here's a factoid for you to always remember when recieving so-called "tips" from our Nation's spy agencies...

..."Intelligence agencies work for the central bankers, not for the countries they pretend to serve. They are used to eliminate any genuine threat to the banker's monopoly over credit and power.

Central bankers have empowered a bizarre cabal of gangsters, perverts and misfits to create wars and mayhem."

A new war on Iran will be played like a fiddle just like Iraq. Just like the War in Vietnam. Same was true of WWII...

"Winston Churchill's backers, the privately-owned Bank of England funded Hitler as a means to intimidate Stalin, destroy Germany and have a world war. War concentrates power and wealth in their hands and enables them to slaughter national elites who might interfere with their plan for world dictatorship."

When we are dealing with nuclear weapons that could literally wipe off the map an entire Nation or multiple Nations, it had better be us in control of the red buttons, not the Central Bankers. Because they will do only ever what is best for themselves. Mankind's progress and future well being is the last thing they care about.
