The OFC guy looks like Obama.

When I was in Asia, I saw several stores with letters of COCKS in the front signs. Let me see if I can find the pictures in the SD card.

A friend of mine married an Iranian and has gone to Iran a few times. He showed me some pics from a Fast Food restaurant that looked like a generic version of a Fast Food place. Somolar tables, chairs, Menus, the works. I got a chuckle from the Menu though: Pizza, Burgers, Fried Chicken. It was like every Fast Food restaurant mashed into one.

He works in Auto Parts and this is where Iran is really strange. Auto Parts shops are small boutique type shops, often with a bunch of them in a type of Strip Mall. Each shop will sell parts for a few Models of various Manufacturers. So one shop sells parts for a few BMW Models, a few Mercedes Benz Models, and so on. None of the shops sells parts for the same Model/Manufacturer. So when a Customer needs a particular Part, they need to find the proper shop to get it. Not exactly efficient, but on the positive side it provides a lot of Business/Employment opportunities.

Due to the trade embargo they couldn't easily import new cars and planes for quite some time, and that meant that they'd focus on keeping old ones running, and that meant that spare parts were a big business. IIRC Iran has F16s, but has a hard time getting the spare parts.
