Taken at face value, that means we'd have to kill or subjugate at least (currently) 1.5 billion people. If they took Europe that number would climb much higher. You're speaking of a global war, a campaign against Islam itself.

What attacks have we suffered or prevented to justify that action? None. You can argue September 11th but that had a direct owner who was dealt with. It’s over and done.

I cannot take serious or offer support to our military actions so long as they pussy foot around and line up our soldiers like sitting ducks on the streets of Muslim countries. That's no war. That's no threat to our nation they're dealing with. It's a freaking circus show the way we're running our ‘wars’.

The sheer stupidity of our political and military leadership is the NUMBER ONE reason we cannot invade or take military action against Iran. We'd turn a successful three week war into a century long blood bath. To hell with nation building, LEAVE those nations alone. Level flat anything that touches us again, but do not leave our soldiers there to die.

You want something realistic? Go attempt to push through reforms targeting Islam in America. You want a war with Islam, go fight that war HERE on our soil first. I’ll tell you right now, there is no support for such a thing. Not here, not in Iran. Not anywhere.

Iran smuggles weapons? Congratulations – they’re our enemy. I think you knew that, but they aren’t a threat to us except in some retarded nation building campaign next door to them. I say we have bigger problems to deal with, right here at home. I want our military on our border. They can’t very well do that while on the Iranian border.

This nation is collapsing from within, and you are pushing for more overseas adventures. Enough is enough. Bush had his fun, it’s time to bring our soldiers home while the rest of them are still alive.

Don't call on them again unless we have a REAL war to fight.

Please don't be ridiculous Poffer John, every religion on earth has its nuts, but Islamic expansion has been on the wane since about the 15'th century.

Maybe its just an accident of history that a large swath of Islamic countries have been the last to get rid of the colonial yoke. And to add insult to injury the remaining Islamic regions
had marginal land of little interests to the larger world. But now suddenly the larger world discovers, those formerly worthless Islamic lands are rich rich in OIL.

And its rather ironic, when the nation of Saudi Arabia is perhaps the most backward Islamic nation on earth, we in the West refuse to say a word, and instead reserve our Islamic hate to Islamic nations far more advanced than Saudi Arabia.

And now we live in a world that is transitioning away from the dead historical force of Colonialism, but demonizing Islam remains a popular justification for only fools clinging to a dead past.

I wonder if selling a part of a technology is counted here the same as selling weapons based on that same technology ?

The reason why i ask this is because of selling weapons to attack and selling weapons to defend.
