I got 2 of these in RAID 0 and it is scanned ok at boot but in Windows 7 they are not showing up at all in computer managment therefore I can't use it.
Any ideas?

Maybe you need to partition them. If you put an unformatted new hard drive into Vista you won't suddenly see it in my computer. I think the tool is called disk managment which will let you format/partition drives.
Also have you tried testing each iRam card/drive individually? Maybe one of them is not working.

I took them out of RAID 0 and made both a single drigle drive each. The controller recognized them as two different drive but in storage/disk management neither show up so I cannot format them or use them.
Any ideas?

Does Windows see the RAID controller in Device Manager? Does Windows have a driver for the RAID controller?

Usually, if a device is seen by the BIOS but not in Windows, then a driver is missing from Windows.

What MB and what SATA ports are you using?

I'm with RebateMonger, either a driver is missing or you're not creating the array properly.

the MB is an ASRock A785GXH/128M, I am using SATA ports 5 and 6.
There is no driver issue Win7 loads off a drive which is connected to the controller. They are not showing up when I have them defined as single drives either.

You may need to boot into the iRAM BIOS and set the RAID\NON RAID and create a logical drive or partition...These should look just like a normal Sata HDD, the controller of which is already seen by windows as the o/s drive on same controller.

The iRAM do not have a partition for Windows to see!

I-RAMs don't have a user changeable BIOS.
It should be seen as a hard drive, it was seen in my old comupter running windows 7 but not this one.
There should be no extra drivers required.
Yes it is Gigabyte.

I missed the "i-RAM" part. I recall there was a post here about recognizing i-RAM a month or two ago.

Oh, okay then....I still believe the the disk needs partitioning!

yes the disk needs partitioning. But how when it won't even show up under computer management storage?

I tried setting it up with a Syba raid card, now my drives are visable in win7 and I am able to initialize the drives but when I format the format fails.
Any ideas?
Also in the RAID BIOS they are seen as combined capacity of just 7GB while in win7 they are seen as 8GB but the format fails near the end.
I am thinking of trying to format them with 7 GB or less capacity and see if that works. I am not going to use them anymore I just don't like unsolved problems.
Update-I tried formating with 7 and 6GB capacity and it still failed, I will be dismantling it today.
