I'd say about average.

as for the second question, i won't answer it as it is biased. nobody would say that they are an idiot.

thats not biased at all. There are plenty of tests you can take to tell you where you fall percentage wise against the rest of the people who take the test. Simply saying "My IQ is 139" doesnt mean anything. If the test you take rates a 120 as average youre only one standard deviation over the average. Now if your test says youre in the 98th percentile then thats a bit more telling. Regardless even being in the upper 90s there are A TON of people who are doing better and are much more sucuessful than I am. It really depends on what you do with what you have.

I would say its pretty likely that the average person here has an above average IQ since honestly, the average person here is probably a total nerd, and also likely pretty well educated. However, the fact that people recognize this, and yet still think they are above the average is amusing. It is likely because most of the people here did well in school, or were led to beleive they were above average intellegence (I mean I look at my SAT in the top 1%, ot 5's on all 7 APs I took, and I might think I'm pretty smart). However I realise that this is not so much a product of my inherent intellegence as it is going to a good school and being good at standardized tests. In reality I doubt that I was born with any more raw intellegence than most, but I was fortunate to be raised in an enviroment which encouraged academic development. I think the problem (and you see this alot) is that too many people don't realise that their academic success is due to the enviroment in which they were born as oppsoed to some innate ability.

It is very rare for the result of an IQ test to change from schooling. The score you get when you are 10 should be very similar to the score you get when youre 20.
