Win2k and Win98
Both machines see each other in windows, yet when I try to set up games on the LAN they dont seem to talk.

Red Alert 2 - can play over the net, but not on the LAN
Colin MCrae 2, also doesn't work when playing the network version, no sessions available to choose.

Whats up here.

Anyone know of the problem.

I'm not to sure about this, but those games might not support IPX/SPX gameplay. Have you tried setting up the network in TCP/IP?
