I've done some googling and haven't found any real solutions, but thought I'd check here before giving up completely.

You might have better luck asking about workarounds for any particular software that requires it, if that's why you are asking.

No, there's doesn't seem to be a way to get general support for IPX for 64-bit Vista.

I'm specifically looking for a way to get DosBox's IPX emulation to work so some buddies and I can play MOO2 multiplayer. I thought I'd need IPX iteslf, but I just did some digging and DoxBox's page says "Support for ipx over udp emulation. Works fine with all games tested," does that mean I don't even need IPX?
