IPv6 on XP?

Howdy,

I'm trying to get IPv6 working on an XP machine and not having luck. I'm using this site to test:
http://www.appelboor.com/ipv6.html

On my Win7 machine, that site pops up and says I have IPv6 connectivity. However on the XP machine it says I do not.

I already installed the iPv6 protocal via Network Properties, and did the netsh stuff to install ipv6 as well but it still doesn't work.

I can type ipv6 at a command prompt and get all the commands to show up so I know it's there, but it just doesn't work online.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

When I do an IPCONFIG, I get:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.144
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : fe80::213:72ff:fe7b:adb3%4
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

I can also do a Ping6 to localhost and get replies so it seems like it's working.

However, when I go to site that say they'll test my IPv6 connectivity:
http://test-ipv6.com
or
http://www.appelboor.com/ipv6.html

they both fail.

Not sure what I'm missing.

ISP IPv6 connectivity?

Well, when I go to the test-ipv6.com site from my WIny7 machine, it tells me this:

Your IPv4 address on the public internet appears to be 65.28.57.134

Your IPv6 address on the public internet appears to be 2001:0:4137:9e76:2433:367c:bee3:c679 (Teredo)

You appear to be able to browse the IPv4 internet only. You will not be able to reach IPv6-only sites. Additionally, depending on your ISP, your IPv4 expericence may degrade over time.

Your IPv6 connection appears to be using Teredo, a type of IPv4/IPv6 gateway; currently it connects only to direct IP's. Your browser will not be able to go to IPv6 sites by name. This means the current configuration is not useful for browsing IPv6 web sites.

The other site says:
Pity: you have no IPv6 name resolving. Alas, this is normal on Windows Vista and Windows 7 with so called Teredo 2001:0:-addresses.

So I at least get further but it looks like DNS doesn't work with IPv6 but direct IP does. I'm with Roadrunner so have no idea what they do or do not support.
