IPV6 and new router

AT&T recently supplied me with a new gateway. Within the WIFI setup is a check box to enable/disable IPV6 on my home network.

Do I need this enabled? Apparently this just applies to my home network ONLY so will it prevent me from web accessing an IPV6 IP address when and if I need to?
