ips on zonealarm question

I keep getting hit by this ip addy: 10.88.240.1 on UDP port 68 -- this is very close to my cable modem's HFC IP Address
This previously unseen connection attempt coincides with many IGMP queries from an ip that turns out to be my cable modem's Ethernet IP Address

Why are these both happening all of a sudden?

This is normal, its most likely something like the cmts checking to se eif you're still online or something...
