What is your point? You use your product and that causes wear. Wear causes less performance. Less performance in this case is less battery life.

Have you check the 0-60 time on you car that has 100K on it?

i see your point...but take a used car..say you pay $1800 for it. Tranny dies. $1500 later, you have a running car again. Same thing, give or take.

There's suppliers for Ipod batteries that are cheaper than apple's too.
