This summer I'm going to try to get a 20 gig Zen. The price difference, sound quality difference and the fact that if I want I can throw in an 80 gig HD really tips the scales in the Zen's favor.😎

I have an iTrip and it kinda sucks. It sounds worse than most of the local radio stations. It wasnt worth $35 IMHO.

i read some people have really good others really bad reception with it seems like a QC issue to me

another explanation is the FM band in extremely crowded in some areas

did you try it in your house and car?



i paid 37 or 39 for mine got it from the apple store since no local retailer carries it

where did you get yours?

I tried it on quite a few different stations on my home system, and while the tuner said that the signal was strong, it still didnt sound as good as some of the more popular local stations. In fact is sounded more mono than stereo. The iTrip really seemed like a great idea, unfortunatley it didnt work out so well for me 🙁. Oh well I hope you have better luck with yours!

mine sounds pretty good infact i tried in in a radio without an antenna and moved the ipod to the opposite side of the house and it was still pretty clear

it sounds about as good as a decent radio station on the radio w/ out the antenna and in the car it sounds excellent IMO though all i have is the standard radio in my car and the speakers are pretty crappy i think the itrip does a good job about as clear as the clearest radio stations around here
