i dont even have an ipod but just the other day i was thinking how much easier it would be to transfer files to my mp3 player via winamp media library instead of windows explorer... 🙂
this is awesome! 😀

Musicmatch is garbage.

If this plugin would work with WinAmp 2.8-3 then it would be decent. (and if someone gave me a free ipod to use too)

thats pretty sweet, i cant stand itunes, if i had an ipod id use ephpod anyway just totransfer stuff

play everything in winamp, i have a zenxtran and i dont sync it because it cant hold all my music

I don't grok that comment.

the Winamp developers leaving don't suddenly make the myriad of versions of Winamp out there on the internet suddenly unusable.

Besides iTunes and Music Match what other music library/explorer type program is there?
I have started to play around with iTunes simply as a music file organizing tool. However it feels bloated and often a lot of my ID tags are not imported properly. Also I find it to be somewhat of a pain if a get a new song/album on my PC then have to add it to iTunes. Then heaven forbid if I move the location of the file; iTunes doesn't seem to like that.

meh, i like mah iTunes

Me too. What do you guys dislike about it?

The unbelievable intrusiveness of Quicktime.
No, I don't want icons everywhere.
No, I don't want to "upgrade to Pro". Fvck off.
No, I really don't want a system tray icon.
No, I don't want you to steal my file associations.
And no, I do not want the goddamn crappy Quicktime player.

Quicktime. The New Real(R).

I like to use a separate program for management of tags and music file organization. The most powerful program for this imo is Abander TagControl, which has lots of options you don't get in any of the players. For playing, I use winamp or windows media player.
