Exactly, and we know that 95% of people here don't have a downloaded iTunes collection and if they do, it's like 10 songs or fewer, not 3000 (like their ipod collection), so the complaints about Apple's DRM is stupid.

Give me something so small, so sleek, and so easy to use. Scroll/click wheel ftw.

Between sales, give aways and audiobooks, I have about $300-500 in downloads and the idea of scraping that to try a different MP3 player really burns me. Which goes back to the tread about the DRM, it only make me want to pirate music instead of buy it.

I guess yea... iTunes just never seemed worthwhile to me. $1 per song, you're paying as much as the album in the end except you get to pick your own songs I guess.

I went with Real Rhapsody instead with unlimited streaming. Our school gives usa deal for $2 / month. Hell, I'll take that anyday over iTunes. Too bad they're ending this deal for us and I'm gonna be music-less pretty soon.

If you're like most people who don't pay for iTunes, then it doesn't really matter which player.

The Sansa E series are pretty good, but I still think the iPod is just smooth and well designed wit hthe click wheel. I have yet to see a better interface.

If you hate iPods because it's Apple, that's pure fanboisim and stupidity. IT's a good player, and using iTunes is a slight inconvenience, but it's not THAT bad is it? It's like when iPods didnt have USB chargers and they required firewire? Remember those days? How about the new iPods that don't have wall chargers? Slight inconvenience, but not that bad right?

Really hate to rent music. If I am going to pay money I want to keep the product, but RIAA seems to think we should be paying over and over to hear the same damn music.
